"Daren came round our old house in January when we had a problem that left us with

no heating or hot water and needing a new boiler. He rearranged some other jobs so he could

fit a new boiler and give us heating within a few days which we were very grateful for. I was impressed with the way he went about deciding on the system we should have and how it would be installed (the latter was certainly not simple). Everything worked perfectly afterwards. Six months later, we moved house and needed a new boiler. I called Daren and he came round to

take a look. The solution he recommended was very different from the previous one as our house and requirements were very different. He suggested a much bigger boiler and a pressurised hot water cylinder and this has made a huge difference to us (the pressurised hot water cylinder is fantastic). This is something I really like about Daren - he doesn't just tell you to have whatever boiler he wants to sell/install or whatever makes his life easier. He listens to what you need, discusses options and uses his extensive knowledge to come up with the best solution for you. The standard of workmanship from Daren has always been very good and you can tell he takes a pride in his work. Very recently, the tenant at our old house called us about a leaking stopcock.

I called Daren and by the end of the day he'd gone round and fixed the problem. Its very reassuring to know that I can call on someone like Daren when there is a problem and know

that it will get fixed quickly and properly."

 "We had an ongoing problem with our shower, where it would only run cold. We had three plumbers look at the issue over two years and at best it would only be solved for one/two

months before the problem would resume. We had the heat exchange changed twice in two

years at a cost of in excess of £350 a time and this did not solve the problem for more than

a month. Daren from Prentice Plumbing and Heating investigated the problem and found that

the hardness of the water was ultimately the source of the problem. He found that the hot

water feed to the shower was nearly blocked by limescale so suggested that a new shower

be fitted. In order to solve the long term problem and to stop it happening again he also

suggested a water softener be fitted, which we did and our shower has worked flawlessly for

the past 6 months. The only plumber who took the time to look at the shower and not just look

at the boiler and solved a problem that three other plumbers did not solve. Very polite and very knowledgeable about boilers and the science behind them."
